The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive, patient-centered health care to assigned UMBC athletic teams while working collaboratively with team physicians, athletic trainers, sports performance professionals, and other members of our multidisciplinary health care team. This position plays an integral role in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-sport while developing strong relationships with student-athletes and supporting their overall health and well-being. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Sports Medicine and Sports Performance department that values professional growth, communication, innovation, and providing an exceptional student-athlete experience.
UMBC offers competitive compensation. This role starts at $52,000 and has over 4 weeks of vacation for regular full time roles. Tuition remission is also available.

Salary: $52,000 - $59,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
