Apply NowAthletic Department Duties and Responsibilities :
Works under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer.
Works under the direction of Medical Director/Team Physician and Head Athletic Trainer, responsible for assisting in aspects of medical care and coverage for the University’s Intercollegiate Athletic Teams including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Assists in monitoring budget, ordering, and inventory of athletic training equipment and supplies.
Serves as liaison between Limestone University, athletic training staff, coaches, student-athletes, physicians, and parents.
Assists in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Prevention Training of athletic staff.
Assists in the organization of athletic training supply storage.
Assists in conducting a bi-annual inventory, of athletic training equipment and supplies.
Assists in completing a monthly running inventory athletic training supplies.
Conducts him/herself in a manner which expresses overall concern for Limestone College.
Attends required Athletic Department Meetings, Athletic Training Department Meetings, and other meetings as directed.
Athletic Training Education Program Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves an Approved Clinical Instructor in the Athletic Training Education Program and attends related workshops.
Responsible for providing direct supervision to athletic training students during clinical and field experiences.
Responsible for providing assistance during Athletic Training Practicum courses.
Attends Athletic Training Education Program Meetings, Self-Study Committee Meetings, and other meetings as directed.
