This position will work closely with the Director of Athletic Training Services, the Head Athletic Trainer for Football and additional athletic training staff, as well as with the team physicians and extended sports medicine staff regarding the care and management of injuries and illnesses to University of Iowa student-athletes. This position will also assist with the supervisory responsibilities and clinical instruction of athletic training students.

Required Qualifications:
· Degree in Athletic Training, or related field
· Minimum of 1 year certified athletic training experience
· Board of Certification (BOC) in athletic training
· Iowa Athletic Trainer license upon commencement
· Current CPR-P or ALS certification
· Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated team environment
Desired Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in athletic training or related field
· 3 to 5 years of athletic training experience
· Certified Athletic training experience with collegiate Football
· Experience working with electronic injury surveillance and medical records programs
· Experience working with a large roster of student-athletes
