Maintains all medical records and injury reports on student-athletes. Administers treatment and rehabilitative programs under the supervision of the Athletic Training Leadership Team and Team Physicians. Assigned Sport has a high communication and risk expectation, high complexity of skill and workload. Performs other duties as assigned.
45% - Essential - Athletic Trainer for Assigned Sport Maintains all medical records and injury reports on student-athletes. Administers treatment and rehabilitative programs. Assigned sport had a large number of contests and prepare student-athletes for high performance in sport amount of time. In sports with high complexity and skill, ATCs in this sport work with student-athletes that have occurred a number of injuries prior to enrollment. Assigned sport is moderate to high in complexity and skill - lower and upper extremity experience is needed to prevent frequency of injuries. Assigned sport is moderate to high in communication and risk- higher visibility and student-athletes have professional opportunities. Communication is clear and frequent with all parties with permission. ATCs with these programs must communicate with not only coaches, student-athletes and parents but also with NIL agents and advisors.

30% - Essential - Athletic Training Room Operations and Assistance: Manages athletic training room operations in the absence of the Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer. Represents the Department at University, Conference, and national organizations. Responds to inquiries. Maintains sound relations with University alumni. Undertakes special assignments and projects. Assists with pool maintenance and upkeep. Remains on-call for all sports and assists with coverage for practices and competitions for high-risk sports. Attends athletic events. Assists with coverage of Olympic sports. Manages weekly and daily cleaning of the Jervey Athletic Training Room.
15% - Essential - Performance Team Collaboration:
Collaborates with performance staff to ensure student-athletes are receiving the necessary medical care and assist student-athlete to meet their performance goal. Effective communication, collaboration with strength & conditioning coaches, nutritionist, mental health and performance. Utilize information to best support student-athletes. ATCs are required to be present for any physical activity that is required and voluntary by students, which adds a greater load.
10% - Essential - Records Keeping and Compliance: Maintains medical records and injury reports on student-athletes. Ensures compliance with OSHA guidelines. Assists the Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer with budget planning.
Education -Master's Degree
Certifications - NATA Athletic Trainer and SC State Athletic Trainer / NATABOC Certification and must meet SCDHEC eligibility requirements.

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
