POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting the University's Intercollegiate Athletics program and establishing policies and procedures that achieve the parallel goals of development and maintenance of quality athletics facilities in order to continually be competitive in all aspects around the nation, while adhering to all NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees USF Athletics facility needs, policies and procedures, equipment, and personnel. Develops current and long-range plans to ensure efficient maintenance operations of Athletics facilities. Maintains interface with auxiliaries and local agencies of the University and community to facilitate projects.
Oversees housekeeping department, ensuring all facilities are properly maintained and prepared for day-to-day operations and all athletic events.
Maintains and reviews the budget for the facilities department and all oversight areas.
Assists with the planning and development of Capital Projects for all Athletics Facilities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree plus three years related exempt level experience; or a Master's degree and 1 year, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
PREFERRED:
Prefer experience with higher education institution.
