Responsible for the daily operations of the Office of Athletics' compliance program including rules education and rules interpretation for all coaches and staff.
2 - 35%
Works in conjunction with the GGC Registrar and FAR on eligibility certification of all student-athletes to practice, compete and receive athletically related financial aid based on NAIA and GGC regulations; Works in conjunction with the FAR to monitor academic progress of all student-athletes. provide student-athletes with personal and academic advising; assist with class registration, in-progress schedule changes, and verifying that classes meet degree requirements as well as NAIA eligibility requirements.

Monitors NAIA financial aid limits and works in conjunction with the Financial Aid Office to award athletic aid and out of state waivers for all student athletes.

Serves as the primary liaison with Undergraduate Admissions and Transfer Admissions to assure agreed upon policies are adhered to by prospects and coaching staff; maintains files and admission status of all prospects and communicates to appropriate sports program.

Ensures compliance with all minors on campus policies, code of conduct and mandated reporters training for internal and external individuals

Conduct background checks for all student-athletes and volunteers.
7 - 15%
Responsible for review, monitoring, approvals, and reconciliation of travel and P-Card activity, ensuring compliance with college and NAIA policy and procedures; P-Card Holder for the athletic department
8 - 5%
Maintains and updates the student athlete handbook as needed.
9 - 5%
Conducts end-of-the-year exit interviews for all departing student-athletes.
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
3 + years of Athletic compliance and/or academic advising experience on a college or university campus, or closely related field.
Ability to work well with all employees in Athletic Department
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
Effective organizational and time management skills, detail oriented and being able to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of the NAIA's eligibility center or NCAA's clearinghouse.
Considerable knowledge of computers and various software packages used for word processing, graphs, table, etc. (Microsoft Office 2003, Excel, PowerPoint)
Expert ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Extensive knowledge and skills with NAIA or NCAA institutions working in compliance or student-athlete academic resource center.
Experience with Banner or other university systems to track student athletes
