EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full-time position

PRIMARY DUTY: The Assistant Athletics Director for Partnerships & Fundraising is responsible for coordinating the external affairs of the department of athletics including development and revenue generation. Primary emphasis will be on building the corporate sponsorship base and running fundraising events for the department and individual programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Supervises and coordinates all external aspects of the athletic department (sponsorships, Bearcat Booster Club, etc.)
  2. Works closely with the Director of Athletics, coaches, athletics staff, and University Advancement to develop fundraising needs, strategies, and campaigns.
  3. Oversees the Bearcat Booster Club as an ex-officio member.
  4. Oversees athletic giving programs and special fundraising projects.
  5. Oversees organization, support, and handling of VIPs at athletic events (suite holders at football, sideline seats at basketball, etc.).
  6. Assists the Vice President of Advancement and the Director of Athletics with special projects and all other duties as assigned (including various non-athletic University functions)
  7. Serves as liaison between University Advancement and the Department of Athletics to ensure coordination and understanding.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.
