Position Summary:
The Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Sales will oversee ticket sales initiatives and operations which includes planning, forecasting, compliance, security, reporting, and supervision. This individual will also supervise and direct a staff of full-time account representatives and part-time student workers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: selling season tickets, corporate ticket packages, partial plans, group tickets and single-game tickets; calling current and past customers as well as new sales leads to generate sales; contacting area businesses and individuals via phone, e-mail, in-person appointments and networking events to sell tickets; putting together ticket packages for brokers; work all home games and perform various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game; build relationships with current season ticket holders to better service their account; develop new and creative ticket package options; provide daily/weekly updates on ticket sales; and establish a more effective CRM system and database to better communicate with ticket buyers. Additional duties include working closely with the marketing and development offices to promote sales and attendance as well as ensure compliance with all University, State, AAC, and NCAA regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of post-undergraduate experience in sales preferably in sports ticket sales. Previous experience with Paciolan and/or Ticketmaster ticket software as well as Salesforce. Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team.
Required Skill & Abilities:
*Demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Suite.
*Ability to manage several tasks and/or projects simultaneously, to process day-to-day transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
*Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service.
*Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships.
*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
*Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
*Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and University rules.
Preferred:
* Master’s Degree
*Ticket operations experience in collegiate athletics
*Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop software
