Assistant Men’s Baseball Coach

Point University is a private liberal arts institution that educates our students within a

of life while achieving their professional goals. We are training the next generation of
Christian leaders to take the cross to more job sites, churches, industries, and nations
than ever before.

This position is responsible for assisting the head coach with all phases of baseball
operations.

Responsibilities and Primary Activities include, but are not limited to:

• Catcher Coach and Assist the Hitting Coach
• Recruiting
• Assist with JV practice and games
• Ability to throw quality BP and hit quality fungos
• Study hall supervision
• Assist with fundraising
• Field maintenance
• Strength and conditioning supervision

Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years of age (driving requirement)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Must have a background in Catching, Hitting and Recruiting
• Must be able to throw quality batting practice and hit quality fungos
• Experience in coaching high school or college level (preferred)
• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal behaviors and be committed to

effective collaboration with colleagues; and good driving record with the ability to
travel up to 100%
