Summary:
This position assist with coaching duties, operating under NCAA bylaws. Assist the head baseball coach with recruitment and training for athletic competition, and participate in the overall coordination of the program, as appropriate.

Examples of Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assist head baseball coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition.
•Assist in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes for the baseball program, in accordance with and NCAA rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards.
•Provide leadership and guidance to student-athletes within the baseball program.
•Delegate and multi-task responsibilities that is assigned by the head baseball coach.
•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
•Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred

•At least 1 to 3 years of coaching experience in high school or collegiate level
•Must be able to conduct batting practice
•Must be able to travel for recruitment
