TITLE: Assistant Baseball Coach

MAJOR FUNCTION : The assistant baseball coach’s responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all duties involved in running the baseball program. Recruiting qualified student-athletes, organization and design of practice and competition, scheduling, travel arrangements, supervision of academic progress, coordinate and conduct off season workouts and perform other related duties as assigned by head coach.

MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent diploma. Experience in coaching at High School, Junior College or 4 Year Level.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to motivate student-athletes to perform at their optimal level. Work in conjunction with theHead Coach and Intramural Coach.
