Assistant Baseball Coach, Athletics

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cameron University, an NCAA Division II institution in the Lone Star Conference, has a winning tradition in athletics and is strongly supported by the local community. Coaching duties will be performed under the general supervision of the Head Baseball Coach and the Athletic Director or other administrative superior. The Assistant Baseball Coach will be responsible for the development and implementation of a high-quality collegiate athletic program which conforms to NCAA and University rules, regulations, and policies.

Job Duties as Assistant Baseball Coach include but are not limited to:

-- On-field instruction during practices and games.

-- Recruiting student athletes.

-- Active in community service activities.

-- Assure success of the student athletes.

-- Facility maintenance for baseball field.

-- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. College, graduate assistant or high school coaching experience.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Demonstrated organizational and management ability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Master's Degree.
2. Coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level.

SALARY RANGE:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
