Utah Valley University is looking for a Camp Activities Assistant to help plan, organize, and direct, engaging camp activities under the guidance of the Camp Coordinator. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and enjoyable camp experiences for all participants. Your responsibilities will include coordinating various activities, supporting the overall camp program, and performing any miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and dynamic camp environment while gaining valuable experience in event coordination and team leadership.

This is a temporary one-year position.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Helping with registration check-in
• Setting up/Taking down equipment
• Cleaning up the field/court
• Providing information to parents
• Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Leading camp drills

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

• Knowledge of team organization, motivation and strategic skills.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques.
• Upholds and abides by all NCAA, WAC, and UVU regulations, policies and procedures.
• Interpersonal problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Skilled in interpersonal communication.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to instruct, manage, and motivate athletes from a variety of abilities and age groups.
