Reporting to the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, the Assistant Coach recruits, retains, supervises, and coaches NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse student-athletes, under the guidelines of Georgetown, the BIG EAST Conference and NCAA. Carries out duties within the stated philosophy of Georgetown athletics and its educational mission. Follows all institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations to insure compliance. Current First Aid/CPR certification is preferred
Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the game of tennis
Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment, academic eligibility requirements, and retention of student-athletes
Knowledge of athletics recruitment methods and techniques. Ability to create a database for all prospects
Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments
Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate an ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
General knowledge of budget preparation and fiscal management.
Available weekends and evenings.

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$38,028.00 - $56,851.98
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
