The University of Arizona invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach (2nd Assistant), Men’s Tennis. The position reports to the Head Coach of the Men’s Tennis Program and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, the Big-12 conference, and NCAA.
This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy .

Assisting the head coach in recruiting high-level student-athletes.
Being able to run effective team and individual practice.
Assist with scheduling of practices and games.
Assist with Academic Monitoring.
Supervising team and individual practice.
Adhering toNCAAand Conference rules.
Participating in community events and outreach.
Performing other duties as assigned (i.e. overseeing equipment inventory, etc.).
Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Knowledge of position related rules and compliance (Example: NCAA, PAC-12 knowledge).
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor.
Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude.
Working knowledge of NCAA regulations .
Bachelor’s Degree.
Competitive playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
