Quinnipiac University's Department of Athletics invites application for an Assistant Coach, Acrobatics & Tumbling to assist in program management including, coaching, administration, recruitment and coordination of collegiate women’s acrobatics and tumbling program.

• Instruct student-athletes during team practices as well as home and away contests

• Assist the Head Coach with daily and weekly practice planning and distribute to team and appropriate departments
• Be present for all home meets
• Travel with team to the extent available to all away competitions
• Work with Head Coach and Assistant Coach to submit NCATA SV File Submissions prior to competition
• Assist with recruiting (on and off campus as assigned), scheduling, official visit paperwork, informational sessions, team promotion, and camp development and compliance
• Assist in the future development of Acrobatics & Tumbling alumni and community relations
• Assist with team travel, scheduling, budgeting and fundraising
• Other duties, as assigned
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience may substitute for some of the above education requirements
Sport specific skill instruction
Effective oral and written communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Mandatory USA Gymnastics Professional Development Certification and Safe Sport Training
Mandatory NCATA Professional Annual Training
Ability to manage a 2-3 hour practice
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work nights and weekends
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
