About this position
Apply NowEmory & Henry College Athletics is accepting applications for an Assistant Baseball/Head JV Coach. The Assistant Baseball/Head JV Coach will perform the responsibilities directed by the head coach, including, but not limited to, planning and implementing practices, individual training sessions, recruiting, etc. These responsibilities are performed ethically and are consistent with Emory & Henry's mission, vision, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Assist the head coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition.
Support the head coach in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes.
Supervise student managers and student-athletes.
Provide guidance and assistance to student-athletes on various personal issues, as required.
Assist the head coach with the student-athlete academic success.
Adhere to all institutional, NCAA, and South Atlantic Conference rules and regulations
Serve as the head coach for the JV (Developmental) Baseball Team

Qualifications
|
Bachelor's degree is required.
A minimum of three years of experience as a player or coach at the collegiate level is preferred
Knowledge concerning NCAA Division II and the South Atlantic Conference preferred.
Must have a current driver's license and meet the qualifications of an Emory & Henry College Driver
