Responsibilities

The University of Rochester is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Track & Field and Cross Country. This is a full-time position including salary, tuition and health benefits. Baccalaureate degree or equivalent and previous experience as a college student-athlete or coach required, as well as CPR and First Aid Certification. Candidates should possess good organizational, interpersonal communication, and computer skills.

Successful candidate will serve as a member of the Cross Country and Track & Field coaching staffs. Duties include, but are not limited to developing training and strength & conditioning programs, recruiting, team travel, driving, practice preparation, equipment management, fundraising, alumni relations, and additional duties as assigned. This position will report to the Director of Track & Field and Cross Country and will support the overall success of the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field programs. The coach must be able to work within the framework of the University of Rochester, the Liberty League, the University Athletic Association, and the NCAA.
