As the assistant coach, you will conduct practices, work with athletes on their conditioning, and help with training programs and workout plans. Your responsibilities will include assisting with public relations and promotional activities, accompanying the team to activities and events, and analyzing and entering competitions. You will be expected to promote excellence in academics among the team and assist in uniforming, equipment and travel orders, creating itineraries, and submitting receipts and invoices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Collegiate cycling experiencewith bicycle mechanic knowledge

Ability to drive six hours and ride eight hours with the team at practice
Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Travel Required: 10% to 20%
Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver’s license
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
