Monmouth University is seeking applicants for an Assistant Coach – Defense Specialist, in the Athletics department.

The candidate would be expected to:
Coach and evaluate defensive players within a specific position group, which will include working closely with the defensive coordinator to formulate game and practice strategies, implementing practice plans that reflect the game plan strategies, and monitoring the progress of defensive players within that position group.
The position will offer advice and suggestions to the defensive coordinator as it relates to the performance of the overall defense. Fulfill various administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach, and assist the Head Coach in all facets of the football program, while supporting the goals and objectives of the athletic department.

This is an on-campus, in-person; non-remote position.

CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire, Bachelor's degree
