QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Prior successfulexperience in coaching on an intercollegiate or professional level. Background as an offensive coach is essential (skill position; RB/TE/WR/QB). Candidates should possess the ability to counsel current players,prospective student-athletes, family members, and alumni. Candidate should possess strong analytical andcommunication skills and have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with variousconstituent groups. Demonstrated organizational skills; strong vision and leadership skills required. Thesuccessful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission,and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationshipsand the mentoring of students.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The assistant coach is responsible for helping to provide leadership in theadvancement of a small university men’s football program that emphasizes character development and theacademic success of student-athletes. Responsibilities for the position include recruiting quality studentathletes, practice organization, game planning and weekly preparation for position group, as well ascontributing to positive alumni relations. Applicants must show willingness to advance the mission ofWaynesburg University while adhering rules and polices established by Waynesburg University as well asNCAA Division III and Presidents’ Athletic Conference policies and rules. Other responsibilities withinthe athletic department may be assigned as needed.
