The incumbent will report to the Head Coach of Football and will work within a rigorous environment developing high-functioning athletes as the position coach as assigned. The individual will also have responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, academic support, and skill training as it relates to developing a successful NCAA Division I football program.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level OR previous playing and coaching experience of the sport at a high school recognized regionally or nationally for its athletic achievements. Skills or competencies related to the sport. Demonstrates strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates proven leadership abilities through prior playing and/or coaching experience. Demonstrated abilities to lead small and large group discussions. Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology. Demonstrated ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience at the Division I level.
$55,000 to $65,000
All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.This position has an established starting rate.

Yearly completion of the NCAA compliance certification. CPR certification or completed within 6 months of employment. Work schedule includes frequent evenings and weekends as well as overnight travel to sports events. Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods of time and participate in and lead strenuous physical activities, both indoors and out. Restricted position subject to the availability of funding.
