JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, an NCAA Division 1A and Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Conference Institution is seeking an Assistant Coach for Men's Volleyball responsible to the Head Coach for performing or assisting with a wide variety of coaching duties in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of the team.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Identify, recruit, coach and develop high level athletes for the program.
Provide high-level coaching and instruction, including individualized skill training, video sessions, and individual goal setting.
Assist with practice and game preparations.
Organize official and unofficial visits.
Assist with logistical planning with travel.
The successful candidate should have a positive and can-do attitude and be fully committed to the desired culture of Penn State Men's Volleyball as determined by the head coach and support Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics Mission to Prepare Student-Athletes for a Lifetime of Impact. Travel is an expectation for the position.
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher plus 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. Due to the financial and fiduciary responsibilities of this position, successful completion of a credit history check will be required. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$35,600.00 - $500,000.00
