| Job Summary/Basic Function |
Will help prepare student athletes for competition, coach track athletes, take care of various administrative duties for the sport, and travel with the team to various away matches.

Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Ability to maintain team discipline and instill proper ethical and moral character
Knowledge and experience of basic principles of coaching, training, and team supervision
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Able to provide leadership and be a role model for the team
Ability to represent Weber State University and to communicate effectively in individual and group settings. Ability to work well and cooperate with other coaches, faculty, alumni and supervisory staff in all departments
Ability to operate within all guidelines and eligibility requirements of Weber State University, the Department of Athletics, and the Big Sky Conference
Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends
Ability to travel off-campus (including out of town) as required
