Assists in the coordination and development of the club basketball program as directed by head coach.

Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities

• Working with development team coaches and players
• Equipment inventory management
• Practice preparation
• Game day preparation
• Community service
• Intentional Christian faith integration
• Other duties as assigned

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Completing other duties and tasks with utmost integrity and professionalism, as directed, and not necessarily mentioned in this description, will be expected.
• Commitment to the University’s faith statement, mission, and purposes; and an active Christian faith.
• Comfort and familiarity with the practice of praying with and for others, including students, faculty, and fellow University staff.
• The ability to meaningfully support and encourage students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective, using relevant and applicable references from the Old and New Testaments and orthodox Christian writings.

Education and Experience (Classification is typically expected to possess.)

• Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in a high school or higher education preferredÂ
• Commitment to the faith statement, mission, and purposes; and desires to be a role model for students through an active Christian faith.

Ability and Skills (Classification is typically expected to possess or show potential of satisfactory development when placed in the job.)

• Ability to set goals and meet deadlines while working independently
• Ability to work in a team and manage others
• Ability to present a positive image of the University in contact with students, families, and administrators
• Customer-oriented mentality in working with external partners and families
• Ability to interact and relate with prospective students and partners
• Positive attitude and outlook personally and professionally
• Superior organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
