Quinnipiac University is a private, coeducational institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. Facilitate individual and team video sessions using the necessary video software.
Analyze Quinnipiac and opponent game film in preparation of competition strategy.
Ability to conduct high level individual skill sessions.
Assist with special projects and tasks as requested by Head Coach.
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
2-3 years of successful college ice hockey coaching experience required
Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, NCAA rules and regulations
Proven ability to manage a 2-3 hour on-ice practice, fostering skill development and team cohesion
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, contributing to equipment setup and game-day preparations
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support the demands of the season
Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring student-athletes both on and off the ice
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to balance recruiting, coaching, and administrative responsibilities
