Cornell University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach for Men’s Swimming. This position will assist the head coach in the planning and operation of the program. You will also assist with practice and competitions as assigned; evaluate performances, recruit extensively, and make recommendations to the head coach regarding all phases of the program. The Assistant Coach will identify, encourage and evaluate application and acceptance of student-athletes at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the head coach.

This is a full-time, 12-month position. Starting salary range is $62,035-$65,150 for this position; final offer will depend on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

_ Required Qualifications: _

• Bachelor's degree required with up to 2 years experience or equivalent combination.
• This position requires a clean, valid driver's license that has been in effect for at least three years.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Expected to comply with NCAA and Ivy League rules and regulations.
• Previous coaching or competing experience at the collegiate level.
• Must be highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and be an aggressive, innovative recruiter. Previous student-athlete recruiting experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work within a collaborative and efficient office environment.
• Credentials should reflect proven success or potential in coaching, recruiting and in working with student-athletes.
• Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
• Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and wellbeing.
