Assistant Coach/Men’s Tennis

Provides assistance in coaching the Men’s tennis program at UNM, operating under NCAA Operating Bylaws. Assists with all aspects of the program, including individual recruitment, training, and strength conditioning for athletic competition. Receives instruction and developmental guidance from more senior coaching staff and performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required in this position.
Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
Bachelor's degree; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
