Job Description:

Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Assistant Coach, Men’s Water Polo position. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-DI).

This position assists the Head Water Polo Coach in all phases of the varsity Water Polo program. This includes coaching and teaching, player development, recruiting, and administrative duties such as coordinating training and travel schedules, video analysis and instruction, and completing compliance information. The incumbent also maintains positive relations with alumni and friends groups. This position supports all efforts to continue to attract the nation’s top men’s water polo players to our Division I non-scholarship program.

 

Education and Experience

·         Bachelor's Degree, required.

·         1-3 years coaching experience with a competitive club, high school or collegiate program; prior collegiate coaching experience preferred (and/or a combination of coaching and competitive playing experience)

·         Competitive collegiate playing experience, preferred.
