Join a nationally recognized Women’s Field Hockey program with a strong history of regional and national success! Williams College is seeking an ambitious, mission-driven Assistant Coach who is ready to contribute to a culture that champions both academic and athletic competitive excellence.

The Assistant Coach of Field Hockey is a 10-month, 40-hour per week position with a salary of $36,545, and comes with a full meal plan. This role is fully benefitted and also provides full tuition remission of graduate school coursework after six months of employment.

Williams Field Hockey has consistently been regarded as one of the top Division III field hockey programs, with a tradition of success at the regional and national levels including 15 NCAA tournament appearances. Most recent success includes national semifinalist in 2022 and 2024 and second round appearances in 2023 and 2025. 

The team competes in the highly competitive NESCAC conference, which has elevated itself to one of the region’s and country’s toughest conferences in Division III.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Coach in all areas, including:

  • Student-athlete development
  • Collaborating on and executing advanced practice design and game strategies with student athletes
  • Practice design
