Coe College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach of Men's Basketball. This is a position will provide assistant men’s basketball coach duties assigned by the Head Coach within the spirit, policies, and rules of Coe College, the American Rivers Conference, and the NCAA III in a manner that will further the fitness, wellness, personal, social, and academic development of Coe students.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Fulltime position, scheduled to work 9 months (August to May)
Vigorously recruit students…off-campus recruiting, and on-campus recruiting as assigned by the Head Coach.
Plan, organize, and supervise student-athlete practice/competition activities as assigned by the Head Coach.
Participate and supervise facility maintenance of the competition field and indoor practice facility as assigned by the Head Coach.
Additional Responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Previous coaching experience is preferred.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.
