South Dakota State University (SDState) is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach to help compliment a strong and competitive Division I program and shape the next generation of standout student‑athletes. This role offers the chance to recruit top talent, teach the game at a high level, and mentor young women as they grow on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
This position is a 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible position located in Brookings, SD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will assist the head softball coach and other staff with maintaining a competitive Division I women’s softball program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruiting and retaining top level student-athletes; to assist in teaching softball and life skills that will allow softball student-athletes to be successful on and off the field as well as in the classroom as well as administrative duties.
