Job Summary: The Assistant Coach aids in the development and overall strategy of the assigned sport. Analyzes and interprets data from the performance system to provide targeted programs to improve the performance of competitive athletes. Evaluates, recruits, instructs, supervises, disciplines, and coaches student-athletes to prepare them to compete successfully against major college competition.
Additional Department Summary: The Assistant Coach for Swimming and Diving assists the Head Coach with all aspects of the Swimming and Diving Program (practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, etc.) and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program.

Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some club or intercollegiate coaching experience in swimming.
Skills and Knowledge: Integrity and leadership. Strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit.
