Essential Job Functions:
Stanford University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Track and Field Coach specializing in assisting with the horizontal and vertical jumps. This is a twelve-month, full-time, full-benefited position that reports to the Director of Track and Field. You will be directly responsible for administering and/or assisting with the Director in all areas related to the success of the Track and Field program within the Division I intercollegiate program and the policies established by the NCAA, ACC and Stanford University. This is a one-year fixed term position.

Stanford University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Track and Field Coach specializing in assisting with the horizontal and vertical jumps. You will be directly responsible for administering and/or assisting with the Director in all areas related to the success of the Track and Field program within the Division I intercollegiate program and the policies established by the NCAA, ACC and Stanford University. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience coaching men’s and women’s jumps at the college/university level.
  o A minimum of five years of experience coaching men’s and women’s jumps at the college/university level
• Comprehensive knowledge of all jumps is required.
• A passion for coaching and developing student-athletes.
  o Demonstrated passion for coaching and developing student-athletes.
• Assess, identify and recruit top student-athletes to compete at Stanford,
  o Ability to assess, identify, and recruit top student-athletes to compete at Stanford,
• Ability to help arrange team travel logistics for practices and competitions.
  o Ability to coordinate team travel logistics for practices and competitions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
• A history of acting in a manner that is based on integrity.
• Experience coaching multi-events student-athletes is highly desirable.
• Ability to (1) respond quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; (2) embrace change and welcome fresh perspectives; (3) learn from past mistakes

• Knowledge of sprinting techniques is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience is required.
  

The expected pay for this position is $66,560,000-$75,000 per annum.
