Carlow University is currently accepting applications for our Assistant Coach Track and Field, Jumps Coach - Part Time role. As Assistant Coach, the successful candidate will have specific responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics and the Head Coach of the Track and Field program, which includes recruitment of qualified student-athletes, supervision of student athletes, assisting in planning practices and scheduling appropriate competitions under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, and any other responsibilities deemed necessary to complete the job successfully.
This role is responsible for the recruitment of traditional students to participate in intercollegiate athletics at the University. The coach is also responsible for participating actively in team recruitment activities, including on and off campus programs; assisting in the development and implementation of marketing/recruiting strategies; and supporting set office policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a high-volume, fast-paced and goal-oriented atmosphere both independently, and as part of a unified team.
Must have previous Coaching experience preferably at the collegiate and NCAA III level.
