Assistant Coach Varsity Offshore Sailing Team

The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach Varsity Offshore Sailing Team. This position is responsible to the head coach of the Varsity Offshore Sailing Team (VOST). This individual will be responsible for coaching and training midshipmen to compete in regattas on a variety of racing yachts. The individual will be expected to work in a marina environment around machinery in a variety of weather conditions. The position will require working on weekends and travel as directed in support of regattas. Other important duties include fiscal management, computer and multi-media skills and practice and compliance with Naval Academy rules and regulations. Salary commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications: Extensive offshore sailing experience and sailing instructor experience

Preferred: US Sailing Certifications
