The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the daily operations of the Volleyball program. This is a 12 month, full time position at Arkansas Tech University.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and development of student athletes.

Opponent Scouting and Video upload/breakdown.

Academic monitoring of student athletes.

Community and Alumni relations both in and outside the university.

Responsible for overseeing all aspects with the guidelines set forth by Arkansas Tech University, the Great American Conference, and the NCAA.

Participation in fundraising and operation of summer camps.

Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics and/or head coach.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of the NCAA Division II rules and regulations.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Computer skills.

Minimum Requirements:

B.A. or B.S. Degree.

 Collegiate coaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Collegiate coaching experience, demonstrated success in recruitment of student-athletes.

Work Location, Environment, and Physical Demands:

Gym and office.

Ability to demonstrate and teach sport-specific skills required.

Light lifting or demonstrating possible.
