Description
The Assistant Golf Coach will support the head golf coach in enhancing the student-athlete experience by contributing to various aspects of the golf program. This is a part-time position with a stipend.
Responsibilities
Assist the head golf coach in all aspects of the student-athlete experience, including:
Developing training plans
Meeting with individual student-athletes weekly to develop clear communication channels
Understanding emerging golf technologies and use of statistics
Be available on a daily basis for team practices and overnight travel to competitions
Be available late afternoons into the evening
Hold a valid driver’s license
Become certified to drive the

fleet of vehicles to and from practices and competitions
Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach
Qualifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable and able to transport student-athletes to practices and competitions
Knowledge of the current trends within the sport
