Position Title: Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball

Department: Basketball - Women

Advertised Pay: Upper $40,00's

Campus Location: Washburn University

Position Summary: Assist the Head Coach in the general leadership of the women's basketball team, including coaching, scheduling, conditioning, practices and recruiting.

Essential Functions:
The employee is expected to conduct all assigned tasks in a manner that supports program compliance with NCAA, MIAA and Washburn University policies, rules and regulations.

Maintain a healthy, fair and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, and exercising teamwork and collaboration. Actively promote a professional workplace culture of mutual respect and collegiality for all members of the institution. As team leader and motivator, work to build positive and cooperative relationships with staff, encouraging them to work toward individual and departmental goals.
