Job Description:

Analyzes performance and instructs student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition; observes players while they perform to determine need for individual or team improvement; and coaches players individually or in groups, demonstrating techniques of sport coached.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with team practice, conduct player evaluations, and coordinate travel schedule
• Serve as recruiting coordinator for prospective student athletes
• Develop plan for revenue generation through public and private fundraising
• Train, evaluate, and supervise program volunteers and student helpers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4 years assistant coaching experience
• Valid state driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Division I coaching experience

Conditions of Employment:

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines regarding Division I basketball recruiting and coaching
