Job Summary

Provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach. Oversee one or more specified areas of a sporting discipline or a component of a team, and assist the Head Coach with all aspects of recruitment and training of athletes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 1year experience specific to the sport. Applicants must meet stated minimum education and experience requirements.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the specified sports program. Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes. Familiarity of athletic recruitment methods and techniques. Ability to guide student-athletes in area of specialty. Ability to initiate, develop and maintain appropriate contacts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to identify athletic skill levels of potential student athlete
