Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

The assistant coach position requires the successful candidate to work in-person on the Crookston Campus location.

The assistant coach (AC) is expected to work closely with the head coach, Assistant coach and all other stakeholders within our program and the department. Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

The following is a general description of AC duties and responsibilities:
Coaching and teaching (40%)

• Participate in practice planning and technical instruction during practice
• Track our SA's and teams progress and performance
• Provide in-match coaching and tactical adjustments
• Assist with preparation of scouting reports and video analysis of opponents.

Recruiting (30%)

• Assist with recruiting planning, logistics and evaluations
• Organize official and unofficial campus visits.
• Create recruiting content and materials and coordinate their distribution
• Help with incoming SA's with the admissions process and the transition to campus
• Know and adhere to all rules and regulations of the NSIC & NCAA II

Administration (20%)

• Work with the business office and compliance to complete any necessary documentation and
  paperwork.
• Participate in departmental activities as required

Other duties as assigned by the head coach (10%)

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required. Experience playing or coaching the collegiate sport may be required.
