This position is a highly experienced beach volleyball coach to assist with building the New College Beach Volleyball program into a nationally ranked team in partnership with the Head Coach, Women’s Beach Volleyball and Staff. You will work with the Head Coach, Women’s Beach Volleyball to assist with development of strategic priorities and initiatives to implement the vision of the program.

Examples of Duties

• Assisting with Development of strategic practice planning
• Assisting with the development of coaching staff
• Assisting with development of strategic fall and spring scheduling
• Assisting with long range Budget and Program Development for future program build out
• Attend Initial strategic monthly meetings with coaching staff (July, August and January), bi-weekly (twice monthly) practice sessions, and periodic tournaments and matches including championships

Work with the HC to development and achieve:

• Assist with development of measurable targets and goals for off season and pre-season

Work with the HC to development and achieve:

• Assist with development of measurable targets and goals for off season and pre-season

• Assist with innovative statistical analysis to measure development of athletes during match play

• Lead monthly coach mentorship sessions to develop the coaching skills and techniquesAttend twice per month practice sessions to provide in-progress feedback to coaches (Sept, Oct, Feb, Mar)

• Attend a maximum of two fall season pairs tournaments to evaluate progress of program development

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelors

• Safe Sport Certification, Impact Sport Certified

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of coaching at club, high school, and/or college level
