POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Coach to provide direct and independent coaching of student-athletes who compete in Division I, NCAA Women’s Golf for the University of Florida. The Assistant Coach is responsible for promoting academic excellence as well as the assessment and recruitment of prospective student-athletes which includes creating individualized development plans for each student-athlete and contributing to overall game and match plans. Other responsibilities include media relations, inventory and purchasing, facilitating team meetings, budget line-item management and other administrative duties as assigned.

Other responsibilities include media relations, inventory and purchasing, facilitating team meetings, budget line-item management and other administrative duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Effective administrative, interpersonal, and computer skills

Highly organized individual

Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds

Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends, holidays and overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

Coaching experience at the collegiate level

Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
