Assistant Coach - Women's Ice Hockey

Job Description
Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of women's ice hockey, coaches technique and strategy. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
 

Required Qualifications
Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of ice hockey. Position requires extensive travel during recruiting process.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations; experience working with a diverse population; 3+ years of college coaching experience, experience with XOS software desired.
