Provide the leadership and direction for a highly competitive
NCAA
Division I athletic program while maintaining a balance with academic excellence and upholding the standards of the university and the Athletic Department. Provide a positive, competitive environment for the student-athletes as they advance their sport knowledge and skills. Grow the student-athlete’s self-confidence and leadership abilities as they work towards achieving their goals through individual hard work and coming together as a team.
• Must work nights and weekends.
• Frequent overnight travel during week and on weekends on a monthly basis throughout the year.
• Prolonged period of sitting and standing and frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Yearly completion of
NCAA
compliance certification.

certification or completed within 6 months of employment.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree and significant or extensive professional level of experience or specialized expertise.
Competencies
• Demonstrated skills or competencies related to the sport through previous playing and/or coaching experience.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities gained through prior playing and/or coaching experience;
• Must have a strong focus on attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small and large group discussions.
• Strong proficiency in a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook), and the ability to utilize the latest advances in technology.
• Master’s degree
• Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience at the Division 1 level.
Hybrid (works remotely at least 1 day per week but not full-time)
Remote work eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to approval. Employee eligibility depends on the likelihood of the employee succeeding in a remote work arrangement and the supervisor’s ability to manage remote workers. Departments and/or Human Resources may amend, alter, change, delete, or modify eligibility.
Up to $55,000
All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
