OVERVIEW

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Coach for Women's Lacrosse is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of recruiting, field maintenance, on-campus visits, camps and clinics. Recruiting will consist of managing recruiting efforts, including recruiting database (FrontRush), scheduling campus visits, emails and phone calls and going out to fall and summer tournaments/showcases. Assistant coach's area(s) of coaching expertise will be utilized within the needs of the coaching staff. As the assistant coach you will also develop and maintain a professional working relationship not only with the coaches in the Athletic Department, but also with members of the University's Admissions staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Previous playing experience and coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
• Goalie experience preferred
• Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
• Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
