Position Duties
The Assistant Coach Women's Lacrosse will work in conjuntion with the Head Coach Women's Lacrosse to effectively run the Women's Lacrosse Program.
Coaching - assist the head coach with on and off field coaching of team, including practice planning and implementation, individual and team coaching, other coaching duties as assigned.
Recruiting - assist the head coach with on and off ampus recruitingin activities, including propect evaluation, database managnement, correspondenc, phone calls and other duties as assigned.
Scouting - assist the head coach with the scouting of oppenents.
Travel Planning - assist the head coach with planning of team and recruiting.travel plans.
Academic Support - assist the head coach with academic support for current student-athletes, including study hall monitoring, individual academic monitoring and meetings, class checking and other duties as assigned.
Development - assist the head coach with fundraising and solicitation of gifts with the framework of the overall athletic department fundraising adn development program.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
1-3 years of relevant experience
Coaching experience in the specific sports, college level preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent computer and organization skills.
Ability to support the mission and values of a Catholic Jesuit education, as well as University goals for insitutional diversity.
Must be able to demonstrate sport specific activities.
Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to occasionally travel.
Must be able to work weekends and evenings and travel as needed.
