Position Summary: 

Stanford Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of  Assistant Coach, Women's Lightweight Rowing.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Associate Head Coach in coaching the Women's Lightweight Rowing program while supporting all aspects of the program's operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching student-athletes; assisting with recruiting, training, practice planning, fundraising, budget management, weight management, and team travel. The Assistant Coach also has the opportunity to participate in summer camp operations, consistent with institutional and NCAA regulations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with planning and organizing team training sessions and practices, coach and develop student-athletes, and use video analysis to provide performance feedback, while respecting the academic demands of Stanford student-athletes and maintaining compliance with NCAA and IRA regulations.

  • Support and facilitate a healthy team culture that promotes grounded self-awareness, a growth mindset, selfless teamwork, personal and team integrity, and competitive greatness.

  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and recruiting outstanding student-athletes to compete at Stanford, consistent with NCAA and IRA regulations and University admission expectations.
