The Assistant Coach for Women’s Soccer supports the success of a competitive NCAA Division II program through coaching, recruiting, player development, and daily program operations. This role works closely with the Head Coach to foster a positive, disciplined, and student-centered environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, academic achievement, and personal development. The Assistant Coach contributes to practice planning, competition preparation, recruiting activities, and team operations while upholding University, conference, and NCAA standards. Bachelor's degree
Minimum of two (2) years coaching experience / collegiate or professional playing experience
Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and organization
USSF, USC, or equivalent coaching license
Experience or knowledge of NCAA DII rules
CPR and AED certification (current or willing to obtain)

Schedule
Generally, the normal work hours for the university are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 – 5:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm with a one-hour lunch. The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and on weekends to meet the needs of the department. Hours worked may differ with some departments.
